We love the food. The service and the drinks.... But after seeing a pretty large rat in the overhead skylight/lamp thing in the table cubbies.... Can't say we will be going back again.

Really nice ambience- best shepards pie ever. I would recommend definitely

This place is awesome!! You can't beat the food, staff and atmosphere. Shepard's pie is the best around. The Guinness is poured perfectly. We are now regulars.

Had one of the best chicken sandwiches in a very long time. Great Fries. Tempted to grab one of their imports, but had to work. Next time. They did a very good job decorating the establishment and offer plenty of parking.

I visited Stout with a friend last week, and was impressed. The interior is beautiful, and the selection of brews was pretty decent, though they could certainly offer more craft beer varieties to suit my snobby taste ;). The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. We did not eat anything so I cannot comment on the food offerings. However, from my limited experience there, I think Stout is a great addition to an otherwise struggling area of Oakland Park. Hopefully it will be successful, as Ft Lauderdale needs less Flanigans-Duffys-Ale House type chains and more places like this.

Have been to Stout several times, but never as impressed as I was last night while there for the Heat game #7. Not only was EVERYONE having a fantastic time, the service was incredible. I have never seen the staff so on their "game". The place was packed and yet they kept up with shots, drinks and food as if it was just another day on the job. The DJ was doing a great job entertaining during the commercial breaks as well...SO, to sum things up, we had an excellent time & awesome service. Oh yeah and the HEAT won! See you at STOUT!

I came to Stout for the first time last week with a few of my girlfriends. I heard it had been taken over by the same owners as McSorleys and I knew I wanted to check it out. We had been here multiple times when it was Biddy Early's and I was pleasantly surprised to see what they had done with the place...it no longer smells of smoke and there are huge tv's everywhere, including in many of the booths. The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable. The menu has some great Irish specialties like shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage (which they also do on sandwhiches and flatbreads!) and bangers and mash. They also have burgers, sandwhiches, salads, and unique daily specials...lots of choices. The beer list is huge! They have tons of great drafts and you can get a pint or a huge mug they call a "Mighty Mug". They also have some interesting craft beers to choose from along with a pretty nice wine list and a full bar. I ordered the corned beef of course, and my friends had the fish and chips and the shepherds pie. We all shared, and everything was done very well. The portions were great, especially for the prices. Very affordable. The service was great and everyone is really friendly. I love that there is a new place to come and eat and drink, that doesn't require such a long drive to get to, since I live west of I95. Andrews Ave needs more places like this that the locals can come and enjoy. It's going to be my regular spot to watch games, for sure.

Mediocre food, less than mediocre service. The place has a good feel to it...clean, hip and open, but to me, that is where the good ends. I went on a night when it was not busy, but for some reason the parking lots were all full. Hard to find a space on a slow night, so I can't imagine what it would be like on a busy night. Menu selection for an irish pub was decent and predictable. My friend had the fish and chips, which I tasted, and it was very good. I had the corned beef and cabbage, and it was terrible. The meat was stringy and it was in a flavorless broth, making for a wet mess. FYI - the table next to us ordered bangers and mash, and we overheard them telling the waitress that the "mash" was ice cold. Not sure how that happens. The service was really bad. Our waitress, who was not busy, was never to be found when we needed her. Plus she was not friendly. Not really rude, just so plastic and inattentive and seemed annoyed with any standard requests...like drink refills when drinks were empty for 10 minutes. Also, our bill was $39. I gave a $100 bill, and my change was a $50 bill, $10 bill and $1 bill. So, of course, I had to ask for change to give a tip, which took forever to get back. Always a pet peeve of mine. Seems like this place has potential, but I will not be back, until that potential is realized.

When first approaching Stout you are greeted with a gorgeous Chicago brick style facade. Hanging Ivy, drop mood lights, and outdoor music will draw you into the newly remodeled bar. Upon entering, you are welcomed by accommodating and friendly employees. One could opt to sit in the bar/lounge area which is a great spot for people watching or viewing their plethora of flat screens TVs (some booths have their own personal flat screens). Or, you could choose a more quiet area in their vast dining room which also houses some personal booth seating that are very intimate and cozy. Stout has the versatility to offer a bar or dining experience, either of which are up to the patron. The menu offers classic American fare, (I personally recommend then spinach dip) or select Irish specialities, ( try the Guinness broth shepherds pie) There is a big bar scene which means loud music, if you are dining in the dining room and it is too loud simply ask one of your servers to lower the music and they will be more than happy to. To typecast Stout as a true Irish pub would be incorrect, as well as to consider it an American bar. Stout has a little bit of both, each should be experienced and appreciated. This is a go to for sports, they show every game imaginable and even show boxing matches with no cover. For those who may be confused, there is no valet parking and the bar is open to 2am on weekdays and 3am on Saturday. There is a full liquor bar as well as 20 beers on draft. This is a new place, so give it a chance and I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much as my friends and I have.

While the interior of this restaurant is beautifully built out, the food is mediocre at best. What a shame, and a disappointment. I rarely write bad reviews but I have to say, I wouldn't waste money on a dinner here. My boyfriend and I went for the first time last night. We ordered the steak flatbread to start. It was just okay. I ate one piece. I also ordered the soup - chicken something - eh. I ate about 1/3 of the cup, mainly because I was so hungry. For dinner I ordered the Shepard's Pie and my boyfriend ordered a chicken dish - I think it was the southwest chicken. We have NEVER done this before but we each took a couple of bites, asked for the check, paid and left. The food was so bland and blah - like it was straight out of a Sysco box. After wasting $70 at Stout, we went and ate dinner elsewhere. My suggestion is not to waste your money on dinner here. There are countless better options in the area.

We are making it the almost every other Friday after office gadering with friends. Our server is always the same (we seat in the front window) and she is outstanding! I know that their specialty are bears, but for some reason we are a cocktail group. And with the crazy creations using flavored vodka or other flavored beverages they are not so good. Guys... sometimes in cocktails keeping it simple and clasic is waaaay better. I know brands push this new flavored products but you can say no. Hehehe. There are so many clasic cocktails that can blow your mind! And is possible to have the only in expensive hotels bars. Why not in your place? Now.. Let me tell you food is so good. Lamb burguer is... oh my god... I order that every time! Sides are great. Asparagus are thick and crispy, Mac and cheese good, fries look like cut in the kitchen (I hope so).... Eggplant parmesana!!! All good. Not giving 5 stars is because of the cocktail thing and specially because I have a thing with huge plasma TV all over the place. I'm sorry I'm not American and I find that so wrong. I don't think that bar is a sports bar either. At least play some music videos, concerts I don't know something but an old baseball game at 5 pm on a Friday. Actually... just remove them!!! LOL

Had Fish and Chips. Awful Fish likely a pre-frozen Sysco entree. Tasted like a fish corn dog. My companion had a pricey hambuger. Mediocre at best. Fish Dip was good. Over priced unimaginative food. For good fish go up the street to Catfish Deweys.

With a name like Patrick Gavin, you might think I would know something about Irish food. And I do. And I love it. We're very fortunate here in Southern Florida to have a number of really great Irish restaurants. I'm really lucky to have one very close to home. Stout Bar & Grill is phenomenal. We came here on a Thursday night with a baby, which is always an interesting proposal. They had a high chair (plus for them) and they sat us in a quiet booth (another plus) and we ordered. Wow. Huge portions at reasonable prices and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to sample more of their menu but this place has it all. A full bar, sports on the televisions and a full restaurant. Everything you need under one roof.

First time here: Quiet Sunday night. Shepherd's pie, cocktail, music, tv's all around in a modern, spacious yet cozy bar/restaurant. Plenty of private lot parking. Wings were delicious, hot sauce and blue cheese for dipping. The ambiance is cool in this spacious bar/restaurant w TVs all 'round.

Wow! I can not say enough about how fantastic Stout is! What a fun atmosphere with some of the friendliest faces in the business. You have to try the fish dip and crab cakes. Ask for Erica as she is a wonderful lady and really goes above and beyond to ensure that you are taken care of.

The Stout is a great local pub. There are not that many good bar options at commercial and 95 but this is the exception. The apps are great from the mini bangers to the truffle fries. The rest of the menu is pretty good for a bar menu. The bartender girls are sweet and always there for the next round. The interior and ambiance are exceptional, far better than just some local dive for sure Just south is some nice places in Wilton manors, and Bokampers is a couple miles away at the beach, but in this locale it's tough to beat Stout

The server was super friendly (Danielle), she was very nice and friendly. She really didn't know anything about beers though. When I asked her to detail certain beers she had no clue the difference between stouts and dark ales. The BBQ chicken flat bread was quite tasty, except there was no BBQ sauce on the flat bread. A little hint of BBQ flavor came off the chicken. I had the mile high turkey club. It was average in taste. Nothing spectacular, not worth $13...... I might go here again for a UFC fight and some wings, but that's about it...

Not great. Very loud. No acoustics to absorb the noise. I have been there twice once for takeout and next for beers and dinner at the bar. For take out I had the Western Burger was really good and I had requested the sweet potato fries which have cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top. For dinner I had first ordered the flat bread pizza with Basil Pesto only to realize that there is no Pesto. There is a marinara sauce that has pesto in it but that is not what the menu stated so back it went to the kitchen. Next I tried the Fish and Chips. The fish is in this lite tempura batter and is a healthy portion but I don't think it is freshly made but rather frozen because there was a sogginess to it. And again I had the sweet potato fries sans the topping. The question...would I return. Maybe. The beers on tap are decent even though there are no Amber beers. They need more appetizers for snacking. But that is only my opinion.

Seriously best place ever. Every time I eat here I sit in the bar area with Heather. She always makes sure to suggest a new drink for me when I come in and I always love them. The food is amazing and the service is even better. I make sure to always come back and sit with Heather. Been coming here for years and plan to continue. Thanks stout!

One word: Excellent! First off, they've probably got something for everybody... Big burgers, seafood, pasta, Irish Classics and more. So far, my wife and I have conquered (on her side) Drunken Chicken, Lamb Stew, (and on my side) Lamb Burger & Philly Cheese Steak... All of which were delicious and prepared perfectly. No complaints about the servers, they were all friendly and did their job without problem or incident. On top of that, Stout is a very cool environment, it's new and clean with TV's all over, but doesn't feel chichy or rundown like some other places with 5 Billion TVs. I would definitely recommend this to just about everybody as I can't really come up with a negative... PS - If you like soccer like I do, they have a great repertoire of La Liga, EPL and all the major European Leagues you can't get at normal US bars/restaurants.

Great place to watch a game and to grab a meal. Lots of good things on tap, and it is set up with a big bar, as well as lots of tables for more quiet dining. Everything I have had there is great. Salads, wings, sandwiches, lambbbbb... However -- They close the kitchen early, and at times close it even earlier than is posted on the menu. This is a real downer, as I drive an hour to get there. Would it hurt to pay a cook an extra couple hours pay to stay until midnight? Only a couple orders, plus associated beverages and return trips, would more than offset the extra expense. The food and service is great, but the unpredictable kitchen hours kept me from giving Stout five stars instead of four. Inside is smoke-free, which is a BIG plus in my book. Lots of free convenient safe parking too.

Good food, clean modern bar, and priced right for both food and drinks! Staff has always been helpful. This place isn't mainstream so it's nice to get away to a good bar without the madness. The free shuttle to tonic/mcsorleys on the beach is a huge plus. The Irish food dishes are pretty good! I recommend the fish and chips ! Great portion!

    I came here yesterday and really enjoyed my food. I had fish & chips (with waffle fries). You honestly won't regret this decision. It was mouth watering, and the food is well worth the price. Annnnd they also have some neat craft beer in stock, try out Little Sumpin' Sumpin'. Our waiter, Heather, Was also very attentive and nice. She kept on making sure we were having a good time and everything was okay with the food... And no screw ups with the orders, we are a rowdy bunch and some people can't keep up sometimes. I live in Miami, but I can't wait for my next stop down here in the area to come back =}

Stout is a great place for a beer, cocktail and food. The menu has excellent Shepards Pie and amazing burgers & sandwiches. The staff is quick and friendly and the decor is inviting. It's a welcome addition for the city of Oakland Park.

I could see returning here quite frequently following a solid first visit. I was in the neighborhood, and was in the mood for a cheeseburger and beer. My fellow Yelpers had good things to say about this place, which I had bookmarked a week earlier. So, I stopped in, grabbed a seat at the bar, and watched all kinds of sports on the numerous flat-screens. I was attended to very quickly, which I like. I started off with a Tucher, which is one of my favorite German beers, and it was a draught, too, which is hard to find. I tried a host of beers via their four-beer flight package, and finished it off with Funky Buddah Top Gun IPA. I had a simple cheeseburger with fries, which was really good. I always order my burgers medium well, and with everything on the side. The service was very good. Sara attended to me primarily, but there were two other bartenders working hard. Very friendly, and very nice. I was impressed that all of them seemed happy to be there. In my experience, one thing about South Florida is the service is very business-like, and bartenders often work with their heads down. Another pet peeve of mine is when workers talk about the job (or co-workers) to each other, while on the job. I was very impressed with the service here, and at Funky Buddah, Tap 42 and Saltwater in Delray. It seems like they're really focusing on good service (and the customer), which makes these visits all the more enjoyable. Going to tell the co-workers about this place. We used to visit here a lot when it was Biddy Early's. This was our place. It will be again, but with a different name -- Stout.

This may be the nicest sports bar I've ever been to in Fort Lauderdale! The environment is very clean and upscale (even the bathrooms!), with reasonable prices for everything. TVs are everywhere. Literally! I wanted to hug the waitress after she asked if there was anything specific we wanted to watch in any of the TVs. Nobody offers that?! Very nice. I ordered the Cobb Salad as I was leaving room for a carbful dinner later in the evening. I asked to have my Cobb Salad ingredients minced, as that's the way I love to eat it. (Yes, call me a Brown Derby snob!) The salad came out chopped in fairly large pieces, but I didn't complain...it was still good. I was offered a dressing but declined. The Strawberry Basil Martini - OMFG. Just order it. Now. ...why are you still reading this? Order it now and then keep reading. Amazing, right?! Anyhow...I highly recommend this place. They are a very modern, health-conscious sports bar with an Irish twist. Totally worth the drive.

Found this place on the side of the road and decided to give it a shot. The atmosphere is chill and very relaxing. The beer selection is on point as well as the food. The bangers and mash were amazing and filled with flavor. I recommend this place for anyone looking for quality food and drinks.

I would never recommend someone to go here for food. My family and I went here for dinner and from the beginning the experience was not pleasant. We were seated and told that our sever would be with us in one minute. 15 minutes later I had my husband flag down someone and ask if she could find a server for us. Where we were snapped at and told she was our server and than she proceeded to complain about her manager. ( not only rude ,annoying but also super unprofessional. Our orders took awhile to come out and when they did they were not even correct mushrooms instead of onion ( which you had to pay extra for ) For the price of the food, the quality was poor ( frozen turkey burgers for $12.95) are you kidding me. DO NOT go here to EAT. As my father in law said at the end of the night to look at the "bright side" they had a good beer selection.

Another Friday, another work happy hour at Stout. I've been here a few times since they've opened (and even including their grand opening) and seen only positive changes - ie parking has gotten much better as they've added a side lot - it does get full early but there are signs for valet as well. This visit I ordered food for the first time - a flat bread and the smoked fish dip - recommended highly by our bartender Tim. Both were fantastic and I was surprised by the fact that I couldn't finish the fish dip - it isn't often that apps are so big that I can't finish them, especially considering I walked in starving! Drinks are cheap enough, and Tim is a great bartender, constantly checking in with us and making sure we were happy. There are lots of tvs showing various sports so I'm sure this place is popular with the sports crowd. I haven't had a proper sit down meal here, so I can't comment on that... but if you're looking for a good drinking hole after work, that is considerably more upscale than most of the drinking spots in the area, then Stout may be the place for you.

1/16/2015 The Shepherd's pie was disappointing. The meat was sweet and tasted like Sloppy Joe. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant. The cole slaw had a bitter aftertaste. The potato soup was okay, but not memorable. The consistency reminded me of runny snot, not a thick potato soup.

Great layout, VERY nice bar. The staff is always attentive and nice. The food is fantastic, especially love the breakfast food. One of the best places to go to soccer and they are always open early for the english premier league games. If you happen to be an Arsenal fan, this is the place to be as it is the Arsenal bar for the broward area. They also put sound on for the games which is a huge pet peeve of mine when bars don't do this. Definitely recommend checking it out especially if you are a soccer fan.

The food, atmosphere, staff, and design makes this place the perfect place to just relax & have a good time. The area isn't crazy - which is a plus. Recommend the Spinach Dip as your starter.

Stout is a convenient spot for us because of its proximity. The service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's pricey, tho, especially when you're there to watch a ball game all the way thru. Good selection of beer but expensive if you like more than one. Do not get the single crab cake: $13.95 for one. The turkey burger is good but with onions and mushrooms, extra, the burger costs $18 ...

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. Cool ambiance and awesome beer selection, food isn't bad either. Not sure we'll go back for dinner, but maybe stop in for a beer. I don't mind paying for great food, but not really happy with paying good money for average food.

We came to Stout to watch both the USWNT againt Germany and the Paraguay v Argentina game. There are plenty of TVs so it was great for the games. The ambiance is nice. Our waitress took a very long time to help us, or check in on us. I had a burger that I wasn't a huge fan of, but the chicken wings were AMAZING. Overall I wasn't overly fond of the place, because of the service and the food selection, but we also went during a big game rush.

For the immediate neighborhood it may be a little pricey but it's a great pub with quality food + a first class bar. Service is good too. It feels like what you might find in an a better neighborhood in Dublin.

This is a solid place. Ive been in for lunch or dinner at least four times. Nice atmosphere and well designed in spite of the dodgy neighborhood. I love that the booths are in little nooks, gives it a cozy feel. Great for a casual date or watching sports. Good for kids/family as well. The draft list is decent but they could use a few more craft beers. The menu is typical pub fare. Really, a good spot - by far a step above Friday's/Chillis. My only complaint is that they took their veggie burger off the menu. Otherwise, get there and have a pint.

Heather is the worst server ever and I am so confused as to why she still works here . So completely rude ...as long as she works here I am walking back out . Went to stout last Friday with Savanna M for a work happy hour. We tend to get to happy hour on the early side so parking is never a problem, though at you get closer to 5 or 6pm it does get a little busy. The bar is quite long and we had no problem finding a seat (though it was around 4pm). I started with a pinnacle cherry vodka with soda water. The drink tasted great...Tim was definitely good with his pour. I was impressed with the liquor selection, lots of flavored vodka to chose from in different brands. On the outside, and based on the name, you may assume that they focus mainly on beer here, and they do have many on tap, but they also had some special mixed drinks, the specials board listed a pumpkin pie shot and a pumpkin martini. I didn't try either but a member of our party did and seemed to enjoy them. It's smart of them to capitalize on people's pumpkin obsession during the fall months. We ordered food. The bartender Tim was great about recommending things, and somewhat told us what we wanted...that's fine with me. We ended up with a cheese flatbread and fishdip. I didn't read the actual description of the flatbread because Tim picked it for us, but it had mushrooms and a few different cheeses. There was one creamier cheese hiding under the layers of mushroom that really made me love the flatbread. Fish dip was good (Tim recommended it highly over the spinach dip) and I liked that it came with veggies and pita chips. My drinks were around $6.50 each, so slightly on the higher end of average for pricing (I guess I would prefer $5 lol), but it seems appropriate given that it's a slightly higher end bar. I'll be back.

If your looking for great Pub Grub this is the place. There are actually items that go beyond Pub grub like lobster nachos and fried portobello mushrooms and ahi crusted tuna. But most definitely order Lamb stew, Sheperds Pie, and Fish and Chips. And like some other pubs the craft beer here doesn't cost more than your entree.

Not the best time. They have table and bar seating, TVs for watching games is a huge plus which would have brought me back. We sat at a table in a group and had a server and a tab going. The staff was nice, but pretty clueless. Focused too much on upselling right off the bat and not the experience of the customer as a whole. It took 20 minutes to get a water and less than 5 to get a alcohol based drink. We would have stayed and had a few more drinks if you had checked on us more. It took more than two times to remind the waitress that we wanted to close out the check, each time was "oh yea... ill be right back" ten minutes later in between each time. Understandable if they were busy, but they were pretty well staffed that night and not that crowded. Save yourself and head somewhere else for a nicer, more comfortable experience. Or just try sitting at the bar.. you may have better luck without a table and server!

One of my Favorite new places to catch the game or on fight night there are T.V's everywhere. Food and drinks are great and place is very clean and modern looking but still has personality. They also have a Cigar bar and outside section to smoke them.

Thank you Ed for your reply to my review. However, I will not be going back. Both times we never saw a manager and we paid for the full check. Even after discussing the issues with the servers and them seeing a whole plate of food left. I know fish n' chips and that's not it! Waffle fries don't "go" with fish n' chips.... I will say this last time our server was good, but it didn't cross her mind to bring the manager over??? Your staff does seem to be a bit "out there" overall... Good luck to your establishment for the future.

We had Stout cater our annual St Paddys day party. What a great effort by all the staff and management !! We ordered1 tray each of corned beef and cabbage, lamb stew , and shepards pie . The quality of the food was fantastic and the portions were HUGE. If you are having a function or event Stout is the way to go. Hats off to Ed (general manager)he is a sharp guy who knows how to please. Hugh P

Seeing as how we have Stout listed twice, being also as Stout Irish Bar & Grill, and since they are one in the same, this review is rather identical to the other. When this place started off, it started off with a bang as Biddy Early's Irish Pub. It was Fort Lauderdale's first up to date modern styled Irish pub having current top of the line Irish styling and design. However, that didn't last long. The once wonderful herb imported bangers and mash soon became a banger mush, the Shepherd's pie, shepherd slop, the fish and chips, a fishy tasting yuck what once started off as a spotless Bristol fashion environment became dirty, disheveled, and disorderly and to my nose, men's room/stale beer smelly. Hence, I was thrilled to walk in and see how the place has now been reviewed and brought back to life as Stout. Once again the fish and chips are of fresh fish, good quality, and proper preparation; perfect to lace over with a touch of lemon and malt vinegar. It has now all been repainted, put back into proper order and generally as inviting as it once had been. The service too is now professional, friendly and attentive along with a daily specials and a decent menu listing. The only downside seems to be the background music. Maybe I'm just not with it anymore, but having loud rap background music in an Irish bar while dining on a traditional Irish fare, even though drinking a Newcastle, seems a slight out of place to me.

All you can drink from 9 pm to 11 pm.....Shut the front door! Now this is a dangerous place. I digress, I had never been here before, but some of my friends were getting together for a joint good-bye and birthday party. Apparently, if you work at Citrix, this is a place you frequent for HH. So that there tells me something. I pulled up and immediately noticed that it has lights outside that change the color of the building every 30 seconds or so. Very interesting....for an Irish Bar....on the edge of a well known Gay Section of town. I go in, my friends aren't there yet, I sit at the bar was greeted promptly by (maybe it was Britney) very nice girl, extremely friendly. I also notice I'm very over dressed, which is not unusual, but I'm really overdressed. This is a bar bar, yeah you can wear a dress, but no makeup is OK. And this BAR is huge, it must sit at least 40 people, it's long as he11. Don't get overdressed b/c you will stick out, like moi. Anyhow, I'm at the bar for about 4 mins and a group of guys behind me offer to by my drink. OK! Very friendly patrons. Strike up a conversation, that's nice. Anyhow, friends show up and we start drinking, and then I learn they have this open bar thing from 9 to 11, my friend's husband strapped on his game face, and started hitting the captains and diet like he was back in college. It was hysterical, she wasn't thrilled...but watching it was great. Music gets better around 9 pm as well, playing techno hits, etc. FOOD was very good. The fish n chips were delicious, their seared tuna appetizer was surprisingly good. Corn beef and cabbage was VERY salty, too salty for me, I'd skip that dish. And again great service, we had another waitress with blonde curly hair. I'm going back, I'm a Stout convert!

It's 3 to 3.5 stars for me, relative to a sports bar atmosphere. The food is good, the bartenders are cute, lots of reasonably priced beverage options and plenty of tv's - you'll rub elbows with electricians and factory workers, but the fun atmosphere makes it worth the visit.

The mini crab cakes were to die for! I would definitely recommend this pub to my friends both in and out of town. Nice bar tender & good food. I will make this a regular drinking hole!

This place was recommended by a friend, since we are new to the Oakland Park area. The restaurant is beautiful. The booths decor, and tv's on every wall are really impressive. Our server was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The only problems we had were with the food. Three different parts of the meal came out cold. Lobster bisque soups good. The mushroom burger was very tasty because they used boursin cheese. My husband got a steak, but it was so overcooked that it was not good. The waitress did give us a discount and free dessert so that was nice. Because of the good service and effort to correct mistakes, we will go back and try again!!

Stout is actually a really cool place. The bartenders are great and known how to mix drinks. The food is above average. The service was great as well! This is a really modern pub with an awesome restaurant. Games are very easy to watch here.

My friend had a groupon (or one of those deals) for $40 credit for $20 so we tried it out. We went on a Tuesday around 12:30 pm and it was not really busy. The place is new inside and was renovated for a sports bar, with tables, booths, lots of TV's and yes, rather loud music. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The menu is short, but there was a mix of dishes. I agree that there are only 4-5 Irish dishes, the common ones like fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash. The rest are hamburgers, salads, sandwiches - like what you get at every American restaurant. The beer selection is huge and they have a full bar and some good wines by the glass. Prices are all under $20 except for a few dishes so very reasonable. I had the coned beef and cabbage plate (minus the cabbage - and they didn't laugh when i asked for no cabbage) and my fried had the liver and onions. We ordered quickly, but it took a while for the food to come out- and I mean it was 35 mins before our food was brought. Not good if you are trying to bring in a lunch crowd and get people in and out in an hour. It wasn't that busy, and the corned beef had to have been made in advance, and how ling does it take to pan fry a liver with onions? I was a bit irritated as the server was nice, but since we were drinking water and not alcohol, she didn't check back on us very often and I had to ask twice for more water. When the food came, it was good. My corned beef was fresh and very moist, and the potatoes and carrots were cooked perfectly - most places under-cook them and they are partially raw. It was plated well and was a good portion of food. My friend loved the liver and onions, but hated the thick salty gravy they poured over the mashed potatoes. I looked at other peoples food and it looked good. I would come here again to try something else. My friend would order the liver and onions again, but ask for no gravy. I never came to the previous restaurant and it's nice to have a new restaurant on Andrews. The parking is limited and I would not want to be here on a Friday or Saturday night, but I would stop in again. However, I would tell them if I was in a rush, and I hope they can figure out how to get people in and out during lunch.

Used to LOVE this place! Great food, great waitresses, comfortable atmosphere for a sports bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, I don't know what happened.... Menu got changed; food quality and flavors diminished somewhat; our favorite servers moved on to greener pastures.... Haven't been back after our last 2-3 visits were merely mediocre. Hopefully they've gone through their transition period and have settled for their tried-and-true menu.... Hopefully the wait staff has gone through their transition and have settled in for the long-term.... I'm hoping....

What a very great looking place. I really liked how clean, fresh and new it looked. Forgot that I was in a Bar other than the fact there were TVs everywhere. My husband had the Wild Wild West Burger and he enjoyed it. I had the Lamb Stew, which had plenty of meat in it, which was good. Most of the time you are looking for the meat in restaurant stews. The food was served hot and drinks were refilled quickly. The service was good. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go back again and try the fish and chips.

I have ate fish n chips in many places in south Florida and I believe Stout offers the best around! I really enjoy their Irish menu items and the creative daily specials offered ! A great variety of food and drinks in a relaxing pub atmosphere!

Went to Stout last night for the first time after driving by it to/from work for quite some time. Don't know what it looked like before the renovation, but its very nice inside afterwards. Pretty loud in the bar area. Lots of TVs for sports fans. I ordered a chef salad with chicken, since I had had a big lunch and wasn't that hungry. Was a standard salad, but they forgot the chicken and brought it out right away. It was warm and very moist. Was told by a friend that he liked his burger and fries. I would return and try other things on the menu.

My fiance and I went there this past weekend and it was not a great experience. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was empty. The server wasn't bad but just very clueless and in her own world. I had a burger, hard to mess that up. It was good but not exceptional. The fries were overly salty and I hardly touched them. My fiance had a wrap which was boring and full of processed lunch meat. Also, a few things we asked for that were on the menu, such as a ceasar salad, were not available for whatever reason. In all fairness, this was our second time at Stout. The first time was for dinner and the food was better but in light of this experience, I doubt we'll go back. The food was just sort of ok. Too much grease and salt and little creativity.

I have to say that most restaurants don't capture me the way Stout has. Great craft beer on tap, including our home town Funky Buddha Brewing. The wait staff is some of the friendliest and attentive in the Fort Lauderdale area. Love the Shepard's Pie, mouth watering, melt in your mouth tender brisket on Thursday nights. Never had a bad meal here. Everything so far is at least 4star or better. Do your self a big favor and try out Stout's.

Stopped in here on a Friday night based on a friend's recommendation. She knew I'm a whiskey drinker and has been plugging this place for a while now. Quite glad I finally listened to her. Cruised through the lot and saw no parking, but the free valet service has that covered. GREAT selection of whiskeys, including my two favorites; Redbreast and Middleton. In fact, try the flight of Redbreast 12, Redbreast 15 and Middleton for $35... If you're a fan of Irish whiskey, you'll not be disappointed. We also ordered the spinach dip, which was wonderful. Had planned on getting dinner too, but after the dip, the whiskeys and a pint of Boddingtons, I found I had no room left for dinner. The only complaint I had was the music... It was hip-hop, and very loud, but I did notice that the area by the back door to the smoking patio was much more subdued. Will definitely be back...

Had dinner there last night with my grown children. It was raining and there was valet parking which was a surprise. The staff was excellent and friendly. We had spinach dip, salad, chicken pasta, and blackened mahi. I will be going again!

Oakland Park had been in desperate need of not only a great Irish restaurant but also a good place to watch the games, which this place fits the bill. When you walk in you'll notice that the place is deceptively bigger than it looks from the outside. The decor is pretty much what you would expect for an Irish restaurant but more modern. The bar area has TVs everywhere and by everywhere I mean you'd be hard pressed to look in any given direction and not find a flat screen. One of then other patrons was saying that they have over 30 TVs and I think that is a conservative number. As for the food it does not disappoint. They only have four or five Irish dishes, but seemed to cover all the basics. I'm not an expert on Irish foods by any means, but the only Irish dish I can think of that they don't have would be Haggis, which I just don't think would be that popular. I am a self-proclaimed wing expert and their wings are terrific. They are baked in a jerk rub seasoning and then finished off on the grill. Yeah it tastes as good as it sounds. Overall this is a great place, especially for sports fans.

My 2nd trip varied greatly from my 1st... My first trip, the bartender was friendly, talkative and attentive. I asked if there was an age limit on the child burger, as it is not stated on the menu. So I got the child's burger and fries, which itself was a lil too much for me. 2nd trip, apparently the child's burger is only avail to those under 12. But the bartender, not the same one...was less than attentive. He got my drink when I first walked in, but I traced him walking back and forth at least 10 times before I could get his attention to ask about the child's burger. Then he just went back to ignoring me after he told me that it was 12 and under... I ordered the adult burger and told him that I would need a "to go" box with my meal. He replied that we'd see how much I finished before giving me the box. I explained that I needed the box with the meal as I would be taking 1/2 of the order home... Id come back when the young lady was bartending, but not with this bozo...

The food is mediocre for the price. I really liked the interior design and layout of the place. It definitely has a more upscale bar feel than a restaurant. The servers are alright but also seem inexperienced. If you are a craft beer enthusiast than don't expect much.

This is the place to go for a game and a pint. We stopped off here Saturday evening because my parents had heard that it had great food and was an excellent Irish pub. Well it was a bad decision for my parent but perfect for my wife and I. This is a cross between a traditional Irish pub and a sports bar. But since we were there at night, the pub part was ending and the bar/club part was kicking off. At first they were playing very loud Celtic Punk (Dropkick Murphy's, Pogues, Flogging Molly). Later this switched to more of a dance music mix. The bar is dark wood, large, clean and full of TV's. The were also packed because they had a bus of people on an Irish pub crawl to benefit a charity hanging around. They had a good beer selection and a very good whiskey selection with the rare brands of Irish Whiskey available. The bartender was nice and fast, the drinks were in real cups not plastic, and everything was well put together. They even offer a 10% discount for checking in on Yelp so Check in People!!! My only beef is that it is a tad on the expensive side. I got a shot of Jameson and it was $7.00. Then I got a shot of Bushmills Black Bush which cost $9.00 and a Black Bush on the Rocks which cost $11.50. That is high even for South Florida prices. This isn't SoBe or Himmershee. It is Andrews and Oakland. To be fair, the rocks drink didn't get jiggered so it probably had more but they iced the crap out of it so don't get too excited. So I would definitely go here but I would watch your bill. Now I am not able to comment on the food or the experience during the day. My family has heard good things but for a 30's and younger crowd, night is where it is at.

Visited Stout during the World Cup !! Might I add they were busy but very accommodating getting a table for me at the last minute for 10 people. Enjoyed the mega buckets of imports and the chicken wings were a staple for us. We had the lamb burger and the Bangers and mash. Got to know the staff and Ed the manager gave me a Peroni Soccer ball for my son. Will be back watching the premier league on Saturday and Sunday this season wilth 2-4-1 bloody Mary's from 10-2 I was told by Ed cheers!!!

We just had a lovely diner at STOUT, the staff were very warm and we did not find any problems with attitude, in fact ASHLEY was a delight.... I can see where parking "might" be a problem, but, there is a lot across Andrews Ave that has a lot of space, especially in the evening....Definitely worth a try....

I am a big fan of McSorelys an this is the same owner so I thought I would give it a try. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was good. Being in the costumer service business I was very disappointed in the staff. We had a very late party spending hundreds of dollars at this place and when one of the people in our party had to leave and they asked that a drink be taken off the tab the waitress rudely responded " you ordered it didn't you? ". Asking a rude rhetorical question to a customer in my opinion is way out of line. She then asked the manager and he said its policy that once the drink is poured you have to pay for it. Unfortunately on principle they have lost me as a costumer and I am sure if they keep those antics up many more will follow suit. What a disappointment .

This joint used to be Biddy Early's. These are my reasons for why this place rocks: 1. They are owned by the same folk that own McSorley's Beach Pub at Sunrise and A1A. 2. This place is clean, and new, and very well kept. 3. This joint is managed by Ed D'Ottavio, his name and rep speaks for itself. 4. Dawn and Heather are HOT! 5. I am jammin' to When In Rome's "The Promise!" right now! 6. I love to enumerate. 7. Private booths for private conversations. 8. F'off! Night night. Visit and then get at me. Peace!

I was skeptical when I saw the short menu, but we gave it a shot. I'll start with what's good - HUGE beer selection, as you'd expect from an Irish pub. The decor was very nice, TVs everywhere but still had a nice warm ambiance. They have daily specials, so they're at least trying to keep things fresh. As for the menu, the only "Irish" things I saw were bangers and mash, shepherds pie, and corned beef sandwiches. I happened to luck out that their soup of the day was lamb stew, but it's not a regular menu item, nor is the typical potato leek soup I've come to love at other Irish restaurants. The rest of the menu was typical upscale bar food - burgers, flatbreads, pasta and fish dishes. I was a little bewildered seeing conch chowder as a regular menu item. I ordered a salad and a bowl of the stew, my father had a pastrami sandwich. The salad was fresh and nothing special (but I didn't expect it to be). The lamb stew was thick with a good rich lamb taste but SO SALTY I could barely eat it. It had good chunks of meat, potatoes and carrot but the salt was just so heavy I ended up just fishing out the meat and leaving the bowl 2/3 full. The pastrami was tasty, but the sandwich was pretty mediocre in size for the price we paid. The waffle fries were a bit dried out. We had a nice waitress but she was a bit hard to get near the end once we had stopped ordering beer and switched to water. It was a Sunday afternoon and we were almost the only ones in there, so it wasn't like they were swamped. When she cleared our plates she asked if I was done with the stew and I explained that it was too salty to finish. A man came by to pick up the rest of the dishes and I believe he may have been a manager. He asked how things were and I again explained the stew saltiness and he said he'd talk to the kitchen. After waiting quite a while for our check, we never got an apology for the overly salted stew, nor did they offer to take it off the bill. Considering I barely ate 1/3 of it and the only other thing I had was a $4 side salad, I think it would have been appropriate to offer something else or at least comp us. There was nothing else on the menu to tempt me into giving them another chance. I suppose if you're heavily into beer, this is the place to go, but we're more interested in the food and they just didn't warrant another visit.

Terrible food and even worse was the service!! Ordered burger rare came out well. Ordered fish dip appetizer it was SOUP! So liquidy you could not find a chunk of fish..clearly over blended in a blender!!! Girlfriend ordered chicken wings extra crispy..got them extra SOGGY!! We had to get our own napkins and our own silverware and our appetizer came out with the food! Waitress was dumber than a box of rocks and chef came out to argue with me regarding rare med rare medium and well done. What an idiot!! They used to have a great caterer in the back who rented the kitchen and made the food. Hughes Catering left and the new chef/cook if you can call him that is a real waste of space!! They even have the hughes catering sign still on the awning to trick people but don't be fooled this place is worthless and will soon close I'm sure!!

I live right by this place and my neighbor use to own it when it was Biddy Early's. I also like McSorley's (which is the same owner) so we decided to try it and I had previously been there a few times. The food has always been decent and the service is okay, but went there on a night when the Heat were playing in the finals and it was packed and ithere was no seating, t was standing in the bar only. After standing at the bar for awhile I went up to the hostess stand to try and get a table for after the game. I figured it would clear out and we could finally sit and eat so I went up to the hostess stand and there was a guy standing there, which I am assuming was the manager. He completely ignored me and after ten minutes of me standing there, I finally had to falg him down to get his attention and when I did he was incredibily rude and acted put out that I would ask for a table. He then told me in a rude tone that they weren't seating anyone for the rest of the night. Really??? so when the place dies down at 10:00 and their are empyt tables you aren't going to seat those tables? I work in the restaurant business. I know how it works and I understand when a places is that busy that people tend to get a bit cranky, and I aexpect it from a waiteress or a bartender, but not management. That really pissed me off and I haven't been back there since and probably won't. There are to many bars out there with better food and better prices for me to put up with someone talking to me like I'm an idiot!

I recently moved to Oakland Park and stumbled over this place while out riding my Harley. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in for some drinks and were pleasantly surprised. The inside of this place is nice/modern/clean and the customer service is great. We have been back about 10 times to meet friends for dinner and drinks. On a scale of 1-10, i give the food a 6. I enjoy the environment and service more than the food. Great venue for Oakland Park. This is the type of place that can hold large groups of people last minute.

I went there with my Wife and a couple of friends. A lot of TVs in the spot and some good sports on the tube. Just wish they would show UFC fights there. If they did that, I would be there for every UFC fight. The decor is great and the tables are really nice. The booths are real cool. The one issue, there isn't enough to choose from on the menu. I understand a small menu makes it easier, but this menu was REALLY small. That's the only negative. The food was good though. Can't go wrong on a burger.

Stopped in for a quick bite and brew around 330p on a Tuesday. Nice decor, place seems way oversized but hey it was 330p on a Tuesday who am I to judge. Beers were cold and taps clean. Sat at the bar. Bar service could have been faster and more attentive there really weren't many people in there. Food was tasty and not too pricy. Tuna bombs were yummy, but just 3? Banger bites were eh... The corned beef and the steak flatbreads were awesome. The food runner was also super nice constantly asking us if we needed anything else when he came. If the bartender was quicker and more engaging would give them a five. Curious to see what it's like at busy part of the day.

Been to Stouts 3 times for my group football events, lots of TV's and clean place. It's a very good atmosphere and good beer/drinks. However the food is mediocre and not that good game day deals.... first time I tried the famous wings and they were under cooked and soft skin, so next time I tried the corned beef sliders, they were dry and they used the lunch meat corned beef not freshly cooked corned beef. Final time there waited to see how the others in my groups meal looked and then I ordered the wings and they were fully cooked and ok.... the waitresses can't handle large groups.... on one visit she overcharged me and when I corrected her she went and entered the new amount as $522 instead of $22 and this triggered the fraud alert on my credit card and froze my card..... on another visit a different waitress waited forever until bring my check long after the game ended and I begged for the check.... we stopped ordering food or drink long before he fourth quarter, why so long for the check..... I go only to hang with my friends, but really looking for a better spot to meet....

This place looks really attractive from the outside, the new owners did a fantastic job renovating this from the previous Biddy Early's. So I figured to give it a try, also being in Oakland Park. Parking can be tricky if you are unfamiliar with the terrain, I got a spot right up front. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately impressed with the interior. Great atmosphere! Plenty of TV's and hard wood flooring. The service from the beginning was excellent, not to mention we got a really cool and attractive server as well as seated next to some hot 30 somethings at the bar there for some after work cocktails. I decided to go with the burger, being I was starved from my slave labor job. The beef is supplied from a local Oakland Park landmark butcher shop named Smitty's, on Floranada rd. Well from the taste of the burger, the quality of the beef was present....excellent by my standard. Not too salty like Charm city can be, not that there is anything wrong with that....maybe for health reasons. The cheese I ordered (i forgot the name of it), pepper something......was creamy and have a very rich taste to it, great topping to accommodate the burger. The waffle fries are just as good as Chick-fil-A's, which is a huge bonus!! Of course I had to order a Guinness, I'm not one of those guys that feels compelled to order one just because it's an Irish pub, but I think it might have been the sign logo out front of that street that made me unconsciously desire a Guinness!! It took a few minutes to pour, but it was sweet as a NUT!! Service was great, food was great, I'm sure to be back for happy hour!!!!

Cool atmosphere with TV's in almost every booth that plays sports nonstop, but for the price of the food here it's not worth it. I've been here several times and can't seem to find something I like but for unpicky sports fans its ideal!

First off I have been debating on this review but cannot hold it in any longer. Two weeks ago Mayweather was fighting and we all know who's gonna win, anyways. I had two friends from out of town and two others up from Miami who just wanted to grab some drinks at a low key place. Well I've had some lunch meetings at stout and enjoyed some MNF there as well. The food is descent and they have a good selection of beers. I even tried watching a UFC fight there(Shogun Rua) until half way through my meal they told me the sound is only put on for the main event. Needless to say I asked for my check. Anyways back to the point, we were near Ale house and popped in there since they have pool tables but they wanted $10 a pop since the fight was on, our girlfriends wouldn't have known if baseball was on to be honest so we left. Figuring we could grab some cold ones at stout. Boy was I wrong, front door guy who thought he was king of the castle promptly asked for $20 a person, I laughed, literally thinking he was joking. He then said for you I will cut you a break, how about $10. My response was, how about we leave. So instead of having 6 paying customers come in and eat and drink for a few hours they would rather them just leave I guess. Most places I know in Tampa where I am originally from have a minimum table bill of $25 just saying. Either way it was nice having a cool irish bar less than a mile from my house but thinks to the attitude of the door guy and the balls of management even thinking people are dumb enough to pay $20 a head they have lost my business and others I know.

First time at this restaraunt the appetizers and entres were excellent!!! I started with the jerk baked and then grilled chicken wings with hot sauce on the side. They were cooked perfectly and the blue cheese carrots and celery were freshly cut crisp and delightful with huge chunks of bluecheese in the dip. I also tried the ahi tuna appetizer was a huge portion and went down like butter! Next we ordered the fish and chips and the Shephards pie. I am very fussy with fish since I'm from Massachusetts and it was cooked perfectly moist and delicious. The Shephards pie had a great flavor and huge chunks of ground beef. I loved Sara the bartender she was attentive, charming and I told her that her mother must be very proud of her. And finally, almost when I thought it couldn't get any better I met Ed one of the owners, very knowledgable, savvy with lots of experience in the business. I give this place an A+ I can't wait to come back and watch football on one of the numerous television screens! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

I've been there twice since the change, and am not sold. Positive comments first: The remodel is beautiful! It is rich and technologically advanced. It is an Irish themed sports bar. It looks Irish and the food they serve is Irish too. Negative: The music is too loud and too hip-hop/urban/house. To go into an Irish themed pint place to watch sports and have to suffer through the music makes it not work for me. The corned beef was fatty and chewy and the drinks are pricey. $6 a pint is outta my range for a local bar. I would not recommend this place to my friends.

This past weekend I threw my husband a surprise 30th birthday party at Stout, and it could not have gone better! Lindsey was the manager that had been helping me plan, and she was so accommodating every step of the way! She met with me weeks before, reviewed my options, was willing to make changes and exceptions so it was exactly how I wanted and she never pressured me to try and spend more money on food. We had the back area reserved with the curtain closed for the surprise and it worked out perfectly! There were about 40 people who attended. The space was nice and they allowed us to put any decorations we wanted. We had apps for the guests which included chicken wings, spinach dip and chicken fingers with fries and all of the food was delicious. My guests raved about it and although most people had never been to Stout before, they all kept saying how great the place was and they would come back! There were 10 huge screen TV's in our back area and the football game was on for everyone to enjoy. The only negatives I can even recall (which were SO minor) was that it was warm in the back area with all the people and food, but they did try and lower the AC once people complained. Also, our wings were supposed to come with celery/carrots but those weren't put out. Nothing too upsetting or damaging! All in all, the staff was accommodating and friendly, the food was delicious and the space and set-up was exactly what we hoped for. Thank you STOUT for making my husbands 30th surprise birthday a blast!

I tried this restaurant yesterday for lunch. The parking lot was full but I was able to find the last remaining spot. The restaurant is very nice and had a nice ambiance. My server was very attentive which is nice, particularly since solo diners sometimes get neglected. I tried the fish and chips and chose the waffle fries. WOW. The fish was AMAZING - probably the best I've ever had, actually. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and it's always that perfectly cooked. The breading was "light" (almost like a tempura?) and the fish moist. I can't say the same for the waffle fries. I actually almost sent them back. They did not taste fresh and were kind of cold and slightly chewy. Someone else said the fries are overly salty and I have to concur. Also, I would recommend including a small side of cole-slaw to balance out all the fried food on the plate. Reasonable prices and despite what may have been a fluke on the fries, I would definitely give this another try and want to bring my husband back. The beer list looked amazing!

I went to this restaurant the first time alone and thought it was great.. The second time I took a friend for lunch and we half the chicken wings and my friend went crazy over them. He said they were the best he had ever had... Then we ordered fish and chips, I got the same response. He said he cannot wait to come back.. That night another friend called and asked me to go to diner with him.. When I picked him up he suggested Stout... So back I went, twice in one day and we ordered the same thing as I had for lunch... I had on the same clothes and the same staff were there... But the surprising thing was that this friend said the same as the first friend had said... The Best!!!! Now to me.... I agree with both my friends... We will be going back real soon...

I went to Stouts a few weeks after opening. The food was pretty good. So, I returned Fri for happy hour. They had a pretty full bar with 2 girls tenders and one guy. The service and food was terrible!! The bartenders have no clue how to work a full bar. I watched them walk by my empty drink glass over 10 times. The little girl was so busy flirting with one small group, she had no idea what was happening around the bar. Then I ordered steak flatbread and chix quesadilla. They dropped off my food in to-go containers. I said , no I'd like to eat here, then take leftovers homes. The male bartender shrugged his shoulders, so I said thats ok , but no one even gave me a plate to put apps. on. I tried the steak and gagged! It was a slimy crust with a piece of grissel and OVER KILL on the blue cheese. The chicken was awful also. The tortilla was to soggy to pic up. The chicken was little knots of meat with RAW CRUNCHY peppers and onions. Just horrible!! Even the sour cream was fake! No one bothered to check on me or offer me a third drink. Again my glass was on the edge(meaning refill please)duh! So, I put food back in to-go container , had my cash out...But, no one would take my $. So, I left 15.00 for my 2 drinks and left the worst food I have had in a long time! On the way out, I did tell hostess...but I was sooo P/Oed at that time. I have been a bartender and bar fly for years. Sure, they were full, but not that busy . It was simply poor help and no experience on bartending, and pre-prepped food that should not have been. UCK.....I gag every time I think of that mount of blue cheese on the flatbread!! And little diced pieced of hard raw veggies. The positives: The bar is very cozy and the barback was more aware than the bartenders!

Fresh ground burger, corned beef sandwich on fresh baked rye. Wife likes the waffle fries, regular fries for me. This place is first class all the way. Love it.

I stopped in here on March 17th, probably not the best day to try an Irish place. Guinness served in plastic cups, not poured properly, even though there was a stack of 16oz 'PINT' glasses right there. Horrible Loud Music. And overcharging because it was St Patricks Day. Hate this NYC mentality. Will never return. You only get one chance to make a first impression . Shame on you guys.

Great improvement over the previous establishment. Nice atmosphere, good selection of beer and decent bar food. Parking has gotten better since they first opened.

This was my first time there and it was really great! I had lunch with a friend, he had the fish n chips and I had the Shepherds Pie. The food was wonderful. The fish n chips had a very nice light batter and the fish itself was flaky and delicious. My Shepherds pie was very tasty and well made. Good quality food The staff were friendly and attentive. The bill was very reasonable.. The chef came out and asked us how it was, nice touch. I'll go back soon to try more.

Great place! The inside is gorgeous and the bartenders are very friendly. There are TVs everywhere so we always catch the current Miami game, the game in Detroit, and the Buffalo Sabres all at the same time. This is going to be our stop for football seaons! My finance had the burger and loved it! Also, lots of beer selections...including Banana Bread beer!
